Shenzhen North Railway Station

Shenzhen North is the city's main high-speed hub, in Longhua district north of the centre. It anchors the Guangzhou–Shenzhen–Hong Kong line and links Shenzhen to Guangzhou in ~30 minutes, Hong Kong West Kowloon in under an hour, and cities across the country. Three metro lines run beneath it.

• Xiamen–Shenzhen HSR
• Hangzhou–Shenzhen HSR

Major destinations: Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Xiamen, Changsha, Beijing.

Metro connections

• Line 4 (Longhua) — South to Futian CBD and the Futian checkpoint border crossing to Hong Kong.
• Line 5 (Huanzhong) — Loop line to Luohu, the Luohu border and the western districts.
• Line 6 — Northwest toward Guangming.

Airport transfer

Shenzhen Bao'an Airport (SZX): ~45–60 min — Metro Line 5 then Line 11, or a taxi (~40–50 min, ¥100–130).

Boarding & gates

Clear security at the entrance, check the boards for your waiting area and gate (检票口), then scan your passport or e-ticket at the gate ~15 minutes before departure. Allow ~30 minutes from arrival to boarding.
