Beijing West (Beijingxi) is one of the capital's largest stations and the northern anchor of the Beijing–Guangzhou high-speed corridor. From here fast trains run to Xi'an, Zhengzhou, Wuhan, Changsha, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, plus the high-speed service through to Hong Kong West Kowloon. It is a separate station from Beijing South (which handles the Shanghai line), so double-check which one your ticket uses.
